NavTour ("we", "our", "us") operates the navtour.cloud platform and the NavTour Capture browser extension. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of our services:

• Account information: name, email address, and company name when you register.
• Demo content: HTML and CSS snapshots of pages you capture using the browser extension. These snapshots are stored to power your interactive demos.
• Usage data: demo views, session duration, and interaction events to provide analytics on your demos.
• Lead capture data: information that demo viewers voluntarily submit through forms you embed in your demos.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the NavTour platform and browser extension.
• Deliver demo analytics and lead capture data to your dashboard.
• Send transactional emails such as team invitations and password resets.

Browser Extension

The NavTour Capture Chrome extension requests access to capture visible page content (HTML/CSS) only when you actively initiate a capture session. The extension does not run in the background, does not collect browsing history, and does not transmit any data except the page snapshots you explicitly choose to capture. All captured data is sent directly to your NavTour account over HTTPS.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS 1.2+, JWT authentication, and tenant-isolated database queries. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your account data and demo content for as long as your account is active. When you delete a demo, its content is soft-deleted and permanently purged within 30 days. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data and account.
• Export your data in a portable format.

Cookies

We use a single authentication cookie (navtour_auth) to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. Demo viewer sessions use anonymous session identifiers that do not track individuals across sites.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
